Modeling a (fictional) Help Phone with the choice of materials and techniques?
Hello. I have a little problem. I have to make a phone dummy for my mobile industrial design course at university. I have no access to machines such as lathes, saws ar all well at all. I heard that there is this version of clay you can get that even after drying, you can shape, such as carving out of it, drilling holes in it or what be. Someone can help me with the choice of material or technique that I use here? Thanks
Try using Sculpey. It's cheap and you can get in loads of colors. Is cooked in the oven. The cool thing about Sculpey is that you do not need to do more in the derivation … the process is more about adding to the piece. Just start with the idea of mobile and let your imagination …. GOOD LUCK
