Is showering with shower gel or body wash good enough? I don’t feel clean w/out bar soap but it dried me out.

I like shower gels and body washes, but I don’t feel fully clean when I use only that for my shower. My skin always feels like it has some sticky residue when I use either the shower gel or the body wash for my shower so what I’ll do is rinse really well and then lather up with bar soap (usually Dial soap) then rinse that off well. But the problem is that bar soap, not just Dial soap, any bar soap dries my skin out alot. Do you think one of the Dial body washes will work to take care of both the stickiness and dry skin? Or what body wash or shower gel do you recommend? Please I don’t want a flowery-smelling over powering body wash or body gel.

I know what you mean about the shower gel.. try using a dove bar soap.. its the only kind I like. It doesn’t leave that overly dry-tight skin feeling. If you have tried it and it doesnt work for you, you can try using the oil of olay in shower body lotion.
